The Whozits and Whatnots

So now that I got the basis of this fantastical blog out there, now I'll write down the purpose of Subjective Shot and what I'm going to be doing.

I already explained why Subjective Shot was created. But what am I going to fill its wonderful contents with?

The basis of this blog is to serve as a way for my to write my own personal reviews on movies. I will be keeping up with movies that come out as best as I can. However, with me being a poor college student who works at Jimmy Johns as a delivery driver over the summer, money can sometimes be an issue. But I'd rather spend it going to the theater than anything else, so expect a lot of updates on new releases. I always manage to find a way to scrape up money to go to the theater.

I have also created a Film Challenge. It's a way for me to watch more of the films that have been created since the beginning. I do think I've seen more of the classics than a lot of people my age have, but I still want to broaden my horizons. This will be a way for me to experience more of the movies that have built up the industry as it is today. Whether it's silent films, foreign films, film noir, indie films...but it will be a list that will constantly be changing. Will I ever get through it? Probably not because I'm only going to keep adding to it.

Movie of the Month is something I thought up of last night at 4 am while I should've been studying for my final exam. Creative, eh? But I decided at the beginning of each month, I will review and discuss a movie I feel that should be recognized. It can be any type of movie, so be prepared ;)

And finally, a bit of randomness. After all, you can't have too much structure. I like to spruce things up sometimes, so maybe you'll get a treat once in a while. Who knows.

That's basically it so far. I'm in my last week of sophomore year at Central right now. Final exams are killing me. And I just came home to find a large spider crawl under my bed and disappear. Fun fact: I have a huge fear of spiders. So yup.

Until next time!
